We are always very proud of our pupils at Roseberry Primary School and love to hear what our past pupils have achieved since leaving our school. Below are some of the stories we have received about our past pupils and the amazing things they have achieved.
Megan
Megan left our school in summer 2015. She recently became England’s number one boxer for her age and weight when she won her first national title at the National Boxing School Championships. The competition took place in London and consisted of 57 fights spanning over two days.
Megan previously won a gold medal in the worlds largest all female boxing competition in November.
She started boxing approximately two and a half years ago. She currently trains four days a week. Up to now Megan has had 14 competition bouts winning 10 which is marvellous!
Well done Megan, we are all very proud of you here at Roseberry.
Katerina
Katerina left Roseberry in the summer of 2012. She sat her GCSE’s earlier this year and achieved fantastic results. She achieved 9 A* grades, 3 A grades and 1 B grade.
Congratulations Katerina, we wish you all the best for the future!
Santiago
Our ex-pupil, Santiago Dubov, visited us in assembly earlier this year to show pupils his bronze medal, which he won in the World Championships for acrobatic gymnastics in China.
He brought in sweets for every boy and girl as a thank you for helping him raise the funds to go to China and compete.
He gave an inspirational speech, telling the pupils that they can achieve their dreams if they work hard and never give up.
We are very proud of Santiago and wish him every success in the future.
