Week ending the 6th March 2020
Well done to Year 1! They are this week’s Attendance winners’, with an attendance of 98.2%. Alex won the prize draw. Well done!
Well done to the following pupils for being chosen by their teachers for achiever of the week.
Year 2 Blackbirds- James is achiever of the week for his fantastic work in Maths! He is excellent at division. Also he is very interested in plants and remembered all the scientific vocabulary.
Year 2 Owls- Kara is achiever of the week for her hard work in English and her brilliant attitude at school. Kara has worked independently in English and produced some wonderful work. Keep it up. Well done.
Year 4- Poppy is our achiever of the week for settling in well to her new surroundings and routines. She has already made lots of new friends and I’m sure she is going to be a wonderful addition to Year 4!
Year 5- William is Year 5’s Achiever of the Week due to his excellent work in Maths and English this week. He has worked independently, but has asked questions when needed, and has been able to offer support to his peers too-well done William!
Year 6- Lily is the achiever of the week for her fantastic work ethic, positive attitude to learning and lovely team work with members of her class. She is a credit to the school and I’m sure will go on to brilliant things. Well done Lily.
Matthew Year 3 received the Head Teachers Award this week, for having a fantastic growth mindset. Matthew has had a wonderful, positive attitude towards writing and always takes pride in the presentation of his work.
Year 1-Harry also received the Head Teachers Award this week as he has been working so hard, not only this week but all year! He now has a more positive attitude to learning. His enthusiasm and manners are always admired. You’re doing so well Harry, keep it up!
