Mrs Farrer

When did you start working at Roseberry?
I started working at Roseberry in September 2020.

What is your role in school?
I am a teaching assistant in Year 3/4.

Why did you become a teaching assistant?
I loved school and have always enjoyed helping people. I became a teaching assistant because I enjoy working with children and love to see them make progress and how happy they are when they achieve even the smallest task.

What is your favourite subject and why?
History. I enjoy learning about the past and about how much the world has changed – the discoveries, the inventions, the clothes, the events that changed the world, the famous people (the list is never ending!).

Do you have a favourite book?
Pride and Prejudice. I enjoy reading and history and this book has both.

What is your favourite food?
Anything Italian! Their gelato really is the best in the world!

What is your favourite sport?
I like most sports – my favourite sport is tennis and one day I would love to go to Wimbledon.

Do you have any hobbies?
Socialising with family and friends, swimming, going for long walks, reading, cooking and visiting and exploring new places/countries.

What do you like about working at Roseberry?
I think all the staff and children in Roseberry are friendly, work hard and make a great team – it is like being part of an enormous family! I love working in Roseberry as it is so interesting and very rewarding.
