Mr Neasham

When did you start working at Roseberry?

I began working at Roseberry in April 2020- one month after the pandemic. I had to wait until September for my amazing class of Year 5- it was worth the wait!

What is your role in school?

I am the class teacher for the amazing Rooks. I also Coordinate Geography and French.

Why did you become a teacher?

I became a teacher because every day is different; I love working with children and seeing them progress in any area of life.

What is your favourite subject and why?

My favourite subject is Maths because I like looking at solving things in more than one way.

Do you have a favourite book?

My favourite book has massively changed. It used to be the Philosopher’s Stone for many years, then Rob Lee’s autobiography because he was my first favourite player from Newcastle and my best friend’s uncle wrote the book with him. Now, my favourite book is the scarecrow’s wedding because it’s my son’s favourite.

What is your favourite food?

Pizza- all day and twice on a Sunday.

What is your favourite sport?

I used to play a lot of football! For a couple of years, I played for 5 teams and played or trained every single day. Even though I don’t play, I enjoy watching it.

Do you have any hobbies?

I like making memories with my family.

What do you like about working at Roseberry?

I really like the ethos of the school and that is determined by everyone; staff and children.
