Mr Atess

When did you start working at Roseberry?
I started working at Roseberry in July 2021.

What is your role in school?
Caretaker

Why did you become a caretaker?
I felt like I needed a change in career and I felt the caretaker job at Roseberry would suit my skills.

What is your favourite subject and why?
History, I find the History of the British monarchy interesting but mainly the Plantagenet rulers. I find it fascinating how random events and chance during this era have shaped the country we live in today.

Do you have a favourite book?
I don’t have any favourite books. I would usually read a book that was linked to a documentary or history TV programme.

What is your favourite food?
Fish and chips and ice cream sundaes.

What is your favourite sport?
Formula 1 and motorsport in general, if it doesn’t have wheels and an engine I’m not really interested.

Do you have any hobbies?
I watch motorsports and always go to a live F1 Grand Prix event every season. I like to build RC cars. I like to visit historical buildings and other places of interest.

What do you like about working at Roseberry?
Roseberry is brilliant place to work.  The children are very well behaved and the staff are really friendly.
