Miss Farr

When did you start working at Roseberry?
September 2019

What is your role in school?
Teaching assistant

Why did you become a teaching assistant?
I started my career as an early years practitioner in 2016 and continued to work in different year groups including Nursery, Reception, Year 1, 2 and Year 3.

What is your favourite subject and why?
My favourite subject is PE. I have always been active and have been part of many different clubs. I have always liked how in PE there are so many different activities that you can take part in and it will help with your health, fitness and wellbeing. Through my life I have enjoyed horse riding, gymnastics, netball and football, especially watching Newcastle play!

Do you have a favourite book?
My favourite book is definitely ‘Monkey Puzzle’ by Julia Donaldson. I always love Julia Donaldson books but Monkey Puzzle is definitely my favourite for all sorts of reasons!

What is your favourite food?
My favourite food is a good traditional chicken casserole.

What is your favourite sport?
My favourite sport is definitely football.

Do you have any hobbies?
My hobbies include running and spending time with my 3 nephews. Running is another reason why I enjoy PE so much.

What do you like about working at Roseberry?
I enjoy working at Roseberry because I love working with the staff and the children alike. Working at Roseberry feels like being part of another family.
