Miss Abebe

When did you start working at Roseberry? 
I started working at Roseberry in September 2019 as an early years apprentice before becoming a teaching assistant in nursery in 2021.

What is your role in school?
My role is teaching assistant within nursery.

Why did you become a teaching assistant?
I became a teaching assistant after finishing my early years apprenticeship, I love watching and supporting the children to have fun, grow and develop within nursery. Every day is different and we are always learning new things.

What is your favourite subject and why?
I love to get creative and make arts and crafts with the children, it is always a lot of fun!

Do you have a favourite book?
The Harry Potter collection are my favourite books, I have read them so many times!

What is your favourite food?
I can never get enough of Pizza.

What is your favourite sport?
Watching and playing football with my little boy. I also love playing tennis in the summertime.

Do you have any hobbies?
One of my favourite things to do outside of school is going for long walks and adventures to new places with my two boys and my dog named Flash.

What do you like about working at Roseberry?
I love being a part of the Roseberry Team and I feel proud to work with children at the start of their educational journey within nursery.
